Mamady Keita was born in Guinea. At the age of five his father and mother encouraged him to learn the djembes and he is now considered by his peers to be one of the world's finest players. This CD features a number of traditional djembe tracks used for special and festive occasions. This is an excellent lively, upbeat CD!
