Click Here for New Arrivals! Wari is one of the worlds’ oldest strategy games. It dates back to ancient times and was known throughout Africa and Asia. The game is usually played on a board with round hollowed out spaces called cups and forty eight circular playing pieces, which are often made of seeds, stones or shells. The two deep wells, one located at each end are called reservoirs. The object of the game is not to have any pieces left on your side of the board. The people of Zaire are no strangers to this game and use it as entertainment for all ages. Our offering is more elaborate than most. Three large crocodiles adorn the top and game sides and are bordered by a well detailed raised checkerboard pattern that match their coats well. Seeds, native to Zaire are included as game pieces.
