The papyrus shows Ani and his wife Tutu entering the assembly of the gods. In the center of the scene, Anubis weighs Ani's heart against the feather of Maat. This is observed by the goddesses Renenutet and Meshkenet, the god Shay, and Ani's own ba (the human-headed bird). On the right-hand side of the scene, the female demon Ammut, who will devour Ani's soul if he is unworthy, awaits the verdict. The god Thoth prepares to record the verdict. At the top are gods acting as judges: Hu and Sia, Hathor, Horus, Isis and Nephthys, Nut, Geb, Tefnut, Shu, Atum, and Ra-Horakhty
The artist hand rendered this scene in beautiful multicolored detail. His personal signature is on the bottom.
