The people of Ghana are expert craftsmen and are proud of their ancestry and traditional art. They are expert at transforming age old important traditions into modern well accepted functional art!

A prime example of this Ghanian craftsmanship are the leather and goat skin mats offered here. These mats are handcrafted in every regard just like in the past. Precise sections have been hand measured without conventional instruments and hand cut and hand sewn into place to form beautiful geometrical patterns.
