Ethiopia is the oldest independent nation in Africa. Landlocked between Kenya, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan and Djibouti it covers an area a little less than twice the size of Texas. Ethiopia is home to a myriad of peoples with over 80 different spoken languages. The people that live along the coastal regions are generally nomadic and produce light and portable objects such as neck rests. Neck rests are favored collectibles and date back as far as 3000 BC. Our offerings were made around mid twentieth century.
