These etchings are clean cut, concise, geometrical and are repeated over and over again in jewelry, embroidery and leather workings. The markings are ancient blessing of good fortune and symbols of protection for the wearer. However sophisticated or stylized or modern the piece, the traditional markings will be apparent, as with the silver choker on display. The 5 silver geometrical shapes have been hand cut and hand engraved with the traditional Tuareg motifs.
