Earth tones dominate this basket which was woven using traditional East African methods. Crafted from bukedo (banana-leaf stalk) cut into thin strips, dried, and bound over with natural thread to form a tight coil; this selection was handcrafted in the African country of Uganda. In addition to making a beautiful table display, these baskets can also be hung as art. You can combine them with other baskets or works of art to make a feature wall collage.
