In the country of Cameroon shields were used for defense but now more so as decorative commemorative reminders of past important battles. Though not at arms now the custom made armaments are very well crafted and make for excellent exotic wall decorations. The shield on display has been beautifully crafted from a native hardwood and pigmented clay. The shield features a raised modern symmetrical design that creates an attractive grooved relief on the face that reminds me of "Crazy Legs :) The selection is dark brown and cream.

Due to natural wood grains and the handmade attribute, small nicks might be barely apparent.  We believe that lends to the authenticity and charm of handmade art!
