In the country of Cameroon shields were used for defense but now more so as decorative commemorative reminders of past important battles. The beautiful deep concise etchings have tribal significance.  Though not at arms now the custom made armaments are very well crafted and make for excellent exotic wall decorations. The shield on display handcrafted from a native hard wood features a tribal symmetrical designs that creates an attractive relief on the face. The selection is dark brown and cream.
