Mr. Abdoulaye selections will be on view at the Brooklyn Museum in New York 2014.

An outstanding unique, kneeling female fetish from the Luba people of Central Africa. Shaped from a dark wood, darken further by a deep patina. A beautiful ringed wood grain is apparent on the face. Bodily tribal scarification and hair styling are both traditional and very well done. This powerful selection was owned by the village and used during times of distress.
