Mr. Abdoulaye selections will be on view at the Brooklyn Museum in New York 2014.

A very impressive work from the Mbole tribe of the Congo. A hard tan wood that is exceedingly smooth to the touch with a beautiful finish that can only be achieved through age, has been shaped to form a special fertility figure that was not carried rather placed in a villagers' home for personal use.

Dimensions: 12 1/2 inches tall x 2 1/2 inches deep x 3 1/4 inches wide placed on a 2 inch wooden base.

A signed declaration of provenance from Mr. Abdoulaye will accompany this item.
